Restorative Yoga Series
Sundays 6 - 7:30 pm, February 19 - March 9
Learn and experience the benefits of restorative yoga. Top off your weekend totally relaxed, and renewed to begin the week ahead. Class begins with gentle warm ups to loosen joints and increase blood flow followed by 4-6 supported, long-held postures to passively release deep physical and emotional tension. Class will conclude with Yoga Nidra, deep prone relaxation. Inspirational readings, live soft music and hugs with Jack the therapy Labradoodle complete this total mind, body, spirit experience.
Intro To Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
March 4 - 27, 2014
This comprehensive beginners series is designed for the absolute beginner or those looking to re-connect with their practice.
Instruction will focus on:
* Correct alignment and safe practice of fundamental asana (yoga poses)
* Core breathing techniques for focusing and calming the mind
* Introduction to Yoga Philosophy and the Classical Eight Limb Path of Yoga.
Class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 am for 4 weeks, 8 classes total.
All students should bring a mat. The studio has mats available to rent and purchase.
Happy Hour Yoga - Fridays at 6 pm
Join us EVERY FRIDAY at 6:00 pm for an hour of the BEST YOGA IN TOWN!
Unwind from the week and get ready for the weekend.
