Welcome to Two Rivers Yoga in New Braunfels, TX
Our vision is to provide the community with an oasis for the body, mind, and spirit - a place to come and learn how to awaken your soul while nourishing your body and mind through yoga. We believe everyone can benefit from the practice of yoga, regardless of age or physical stature.
As you enter the Haven property, rows of pecan trees wave warmly as you ascend the hill upon which the stately mansion sits. Immediately, the majestic Guadalupe River comes into view bending slyly along one edge of the twenty three acre estate. The lawn speckled by shady oaks is perfectly suited for picnics or late-night stargazing, and the panoramic view can be enjoyed from a spacious wraparound veranda. Once inside the charming main house, you are transported back to the early 1900s when lumber tycoon, Albert Steves, built the house as his family’s summer home. From the ornate dining room to the high-ceilinged parlor, the house invites you to unwind in an atmosphere consistent with the original owner’s intent. A frequent guest opined, “rocking on the porch at the Haven is as close to heaven as I am going to get here on earth.”
Retreat Program: We have reserved the entire mansion for the duration of the retreat! Morning meditation and pranayama, daily asana (for all levels), yogic study, and evening group programs. Fall in the Hill Country boasts warm sunny skies, crisp clear waters, and perfect yoga weather!!! Free time for swimming, kayaking, easy hiking, or just relaxing. Fantastic vegetarian cuisine!
