Marcie Rolandt: Instructor
Marcie's
first experience with yoga was in January of 2001 in
Carrollton, Texas. As a stay at home mom, Marcie fell in
love with the time dedicated to finding that connection
with herself physically, mentally, and spiritually. Yoga
became a passion that was very personal to Marcie. The
time spent on the mat was deeply cherished. Because her
feelings were almost selfish about her practice, it was
reluctantly that Marcie accepted her first teaching
opportunity. To her great surprise and delight, Marcie
found great joy in sharing her passion for yoga with
others.
"Over the past almost decade, yoga has remained
a consant in my life. Through the raising of small
children, a family relocation, and battling thyroid and
breast cancer, yoga has been my therapy. I am so
grateful for the benefits I've enjoyed... the physical,
mental, and spiritual fruits of my practice." Marcie is
Level 4 YogaFit certified and holds a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics from
Stephen F. Austin State University. She is married and
has two wonderful children. |

active to reserve duty (in the Air Force) and begin her
training to become a yoga teacher.
Kanani received her 200 hour level Hatha yoga
training from Yoga Yoga in
Austin.
She infuses Viniyoga and elements from T.K.V. Desikachar into her
teaching to bring grace and strength to her classes.
She wants to share the benefits of yoga with others and
help them find balance in their daily lives.
