Sara Dasso: Owner/Instructor
Sara has been a life-long athlete; growing-up a competitive swimmer, and then playing Division I Lacrosse at the Collegiate level.  As an officer in the United States Army she led by example and trained hundreds of soldiers to be in top physical condition.  Now as a yoga instructor, Sara's goal is to help people of all shapes, sizes, and abilities achieve their true potential through the practice of yoga.

Sara is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level, certified through the Yoga Institute of Houston, one of the country’s oldest established Yoga Studios.  She has studied a variety of yoga disciplines but finds the classical system of Astanga Yoga to be the best path towards union of the mind, body and spirit.  Presently, Sara is blessed to study as often as possible with Beryl Bender Birch, founder of the Hard & the Soft Yoga Institute.

Sara is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University of Baltimore, MD, and holds a B.S. in Materials Science Research and Engineering.  After years of moving around with the military, Sara and her husband are happily settled in New Braunfels with their three children.

Marcie Rolandt: Instructor
Marcie's first experience with yoga was in January of 2001 in Carrollton, Texas. As a stay at home mom, Marcie fell in love with the time dedicated to finding that connection with herself physically, mentally, and spiritually. Yoga became a passion that was very personal to Marcie. The time spent on the mat was deeply cherished. Because her feelings were almost selfish about her practice, it was reluctantly that Marcie accepted her first teaching opportunity. To her great surprise and delight, Marcie found great joy in sharing her passion for yoga with others.

"Over the past almost decade, yoga has remained a consant in my life.  Through the raising of small children, a family relocation, and battling thyroid and breast cancer, yoga has been my therapy. I am so grateful for the benefits I've enjoyed... the physical, mental, and spiritual fruits of my practice." Marcie is Level 4 YogaFit certified and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is married and has two wonderful children.

Kanani Thompson: Instructor
Kanani was first exposed to yoga through her Air Force physical training program in 2005.  With regular attendance she quickly noticed that her stress levels were reduces and she was able to handle problems at work much easier.   “There is something to this thing called yoga!” she thought.  So she decided to change from active to reserve duty (in the Air Force) and begin her training to become a yoga teacher.

Kanani received her 200 hour level Hatha yoga training from Yoga Yoga in Austin.  She infuses Viniyoga and elements from T.K.V. Desikachar into her teaching to bring grace and strength to her classes.  She wants to share the benefits of yoga with others and help them find balance in their daily lives.

Candice Hammack: Instructor

Candice started doing yoga while still in high school in San Antonio.   After moving to San Marcos for college, she was seeking a yoga studio where she could further her practice and alleviate stress. She began to practice at Two Rivers Yoga, where she found a deeper side to yoga and deeper sense of self.

Candice completed her 200 hour yoga certification at Dharma Yoga of Austin, a studio unionizing Buddhist philosophy and asana practice.  She has explored various types of yoga including Bikram, Astanga, Anusara, basic hatha, and vinyasa style classes.  Off the mat, Candice attends Texas State University studying psychology and art.  She enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and trying new things.
